Easter, 2014. Some two weeks ago, I had a crash – no, not with my Ferrari, as Tom Boonen – but with my lawn mower. A root above ground level of one of our cherry trees was too high and tough an obstacle for the blades of my Husqvarna engine. Result: I had to miss my car for two weeks as a spare part had to be ordered.
Meanwhile, of course, the conditions for the grass were ideal, and the longer I missed my engine, the tougher it became to mow it. Finally, I got it back yesteday, and after three hours of driving around, and some 1.500 liters of grass later, the job was done, and I was damned proud of it.
